[Homo_anonimus]

2005

in partnership with Andrea Vieira Gonçalves, Lilian Motti, Daniel Guedes Evangelista and Isabel Anderson

Far from being an endangered specie, Homo_anonimus reproduces in every corner of large cities, where the choices are many and indiferently lead to anonymity. In this hostile environment, has Homo_anonimus her/his own desires?
On the one hand, there is nothing more attractive than feeling anonymous and getting a supposed freedom to be anywhere, to do anything or to be whoever and whatever one wants. On the other hand, a great sense of emptiness, loneliness and other emotional shocks can emerge and report how wicked the world and contemporary society can be.

These are some of the questions that oriented the creation of this interactive installation composed by four rooms: Seed-room, Images and mirrors’ room, Thoughts’ room and Surprise room.
